i agress fox and cyotes take them away.skunks n=be head and drink blood..raccons are abotu the stubornest on sticking arouns..id set a trap!!!! and lamas are good but my husband got spit on my one so im not allowed to have one lol

+1 for canned fish for bait.

We use pull top sardines packed in oil. I thinkt he brand is Beachcliff. Set your track along somthing like a fence line , log , rock or building. 2 traps are better one facing each way. Run a small dripped oil trail with the can over to the trap. scratch some dirt infront of the trap with a stick and scrap out 1 little morsel of sardine. chuck the can in the back of the trap right side up and double check the trap is VERY stable and solid.

make sure you purn the lid and ring down on the can so they cant use it as a handle. IF you find your bait has gotten robbed use a ziptie the nixt night thru the run and a square on the trap. If you get a trap roller stake it with a piece of rebar or metal rod.

As a precaution, I caught the remaining 3 and penned them up with the Buff Orps. They are not too happy about it, but it sure beats the alternative.

Trap was set with canned salmon. Its what I had on hand, so we used some as bait and ate the rest at salmon patties.
