What happened to her?

My five year old Rhode island red is acting strange. She just stands around looking like a statue doing nothing. I catch her hiding in the coop sometimes alone and she has been very scared of me lately. She is molting, I found out about a mite problem, and she lost her best friend. could it be from stress? I also checked her for any injuries and so far she looks ok. What happened to my girl??

she may just be sad or may have been scared by something. If she is eating, drinking and pooping ok, the she should be fine. does she have other hens to socialize with?

Is her eye supposed to be red like that? And maybe she is just stressed. Be sure that none of the others are picking on her.

There are three other hens she hangs out with. she is eating but I havent seen her drink... her poop looks fine.

She is the top of the pecking order, but IDK about the eye. can I do anything for her?
