It got down to ten degrees last night and when I went out to feed this morning I found my hen laying on the ground. I picked her up and brought her inside and wrapped her up then she died. I didn't notice any difference in her behavior the last few days and she didn't act sick. Could the Cold weather kill her and would I still be able to eat the chicken?

I would check for injuries. This is really strange. My birds are fine, as long as they are dry and out of the wind. They will be fine down to 0 in those conditions. I would not eat the meat off of that bird, since I bet you did not bleed the bird out at once.
