He is breathing.. that is about it..he is resting.. I hope that is what he is doing anyway..eyes are opened and chest is going up and down..same with both Smiles and Biggy.. maybe Trouble is the lucky one.. he is still tucked up in his shell..

The clot is loose and I was able to wipe it off.. they are NOT ready... there is still yolk in there..just a small amount...

OK first thing first,are you sure it's a clot? Second thing is, get your self a cup set them in the cup like this:


Stuff it with paper towels, Put one wet paper towel and one dry one on top of that, THEN place the duck inside the cup.

WHEN they have completely FINISHED, they will attempt to get out of the cup. If they don't get out of the cup they are not ready.

The idea is to apply pressure so that they absorb faster. IF at anytime they escape from the cup, THEY are done

First CONFIRM, you do SEE yolk? Sometimes there belly buttons are swelled up and this has been MISTAKE for Yolk. Can you try to get a pic..

I can't tell you how many times someone has said there's Yolk and the put them in the cup and the duck struggles and struggles to get out of the cup. it becomes a fighting game, usually the person putting the duck in the cup gives up and during this WHOLE fight, it was never yolk. just a swelled up naval.. Which will shrink down

So you can try the cup and see if they get out, if they do, then you will know it's definitely NOT YOLK. If it's yolk they will just sit in the cup, sleeping, barely moving. With the eyes opened as your has right now, i would say it's probably NOT yolk it's probably a swelled up Navel..

I can't even see in there now for the way they have moved around.. I am afraid I will pull something loose...I put the in a coffee cup like you said and they are just laying in there with their heads resting on the side of the brim of the cup...I can't get a picture.. I put both Smiles and Biggie in cups..

That could be it.. I think Rocky's was like that... maybe I should NOT help Trouble huh.. He is moving around a little but mostly resting.. when I put the cups in the bator he started peeping.. like "hey what about me"
