What happened to the blood veins in the eggs?

I think my blood pressure just went up..lol...I was trying to deal with Biggie when Trouble decided to make his grand entrance...My eyes are killing me from staring at them!

So once they are out completely ...can I put a hand towel in there so they don't bang their heads on the hard floor...?

Yeh that may be OK as long as it's not slippery remember they need hard flooring to gain strength in those little legs.. i would also get prepared and have some niacin ready. They will need it for biggy and smiles since they did loose some blood, this will help them but they can't have anything until those heads are balanced and up

Smiles is completely out BUT still attached to the shell.. she is kicking all over that incubator..

THATS GREAT, got to get her cord to shrivel up. bring down that humidity

She will probably drag that shell around like a baggage of luggage for a while. No need to worry, you should be able to see the cord and should be able to tell if there's blood in it or if it's clear..

Probably not tomorrow, once they are out of the shell, give them at least 24 hours to fully close up and fluff up.

Biggie is very weak.. he has tried a few times to push out with his feet but he isn't out yet. He is sleeping..and the same is true for Trouble..He is breathing but he hasn't made any further attempts to get out since his head came out and laid on the floor of the bator.

Nice, by tomorrow morning you will see some different ducks, IF they still have that shell on Let me know Immediately, they can't keep it on for ever, it's full of bacteria and nasty stuff.
