Hi all,

it is now day 24 and I finally took out the rest of the eggs that didn’t hatch. 3 were scrambled (probably rough shipping?), 1 was a double yolk, and 1 was this chick any ideas what happened? It is a BCM.

It's when bacteria enters the yolk sac after it leaches into the shell. Most chicks don't survive. I had a survivor, but died after contracting really bad pneumonia.

A lot of eggs came damaged in this shipment. There was a hairline crack in one of the BCM eggs that I tried to fix with liquid adhesive but by the time I noticed it, I bet it was too late.
