What happened?

My little gooslng was cracking through the shell and now is dead

, the only thing out was her little beak. We where checking her out just now and the little sack inside was dried to her little body. What happened?

Sounds like the humidity was too low and it couldn't turn in the egg to zip it open due to being shrink wrapped.
