Mine are about 22 weeks old, and just started consistently laying. Only in the last week or so have they all been roosting. I posted a question about it, as they were piling up at night in a corner and I wanted to open the nest boxes but was worried they'd start sleeping in them. It did take them a while, but they all are finally acting like adults and roosting at night.
Often recently, they've sort of "shut down" at the top of the ramp to the coop when the sun went down. So I'd go out to lock them in and they were all sleeping on the ramp. I ended up just pushing them through the door and shut them in. They've seemed to get that they need to go all the way in now and roost.
