Two Kids. Two Dogs. Two tents. Cots. Mattresses. Tent stove. Dog bed.

Remind me to light a candle for the Blessed Virgin of Grumman Freighter Canoes.

I had to make two trips. Here's one of them, the other managed to stay out of the pics. He doesn't like paparazzi.

We freeze!! The last 2 times we went camping, real camping in tents we froze. The temps dropped into the teens. I had a box of wippies next so my sleeping bag, inside our tent and in the morning it was a frozen solid block of wippie ice. A good time was had by all. Lucky no one got frost bite on our faces that night while we tried to sleep.

We camp out way below zero. We have a titanium woodstove that goes inside our tents, and we're downright toasty.

I love it! My family is a bunch of whimps.... They would never camp like that. I have one of those stoves but have never had the oportunity to use it yet. What is your tent made of canvas or nylon?

Looks like so much fun! We never have had those extremes camping in Colorado....we don't traditionally go when it could snow, although it has but not THAT deep! Good memories for you!
