What has been killing my scovies?

So this one has me puzzled & very upset. Over the years I've had 3 adult scovie hens killed by an unknown predator. It only happens at night or morning when there is a single duck left out of the coop (every time its been my mother being too lazy to chase one back in and not bothering to tell me or forgetting). I've left my whole flock of 7 now 6 birds loose all times of year on & off with no issues.

I lived in Abq NM in the county with city areas & more country in the surrounding areas. My neighborhood is known to have an occasional coyote with me seeing a whole pack only once in my lifetime but they normally only hang around during the cold months & come from the bosque a few miles away via ditchbank, pet & stray cats, the occasional coon, skunks spring through fall, & hawks also spring through fall. I live on 2 long acres.

The 1rst 2 bodies were found in my other field. The very first duck I only found her head, wing, a claw, & some feathers with & without chunks attached. Number 2 I can't remember much, but I believe she was shredded, & today the third (my favorite hen I've had since my first scovies who was one of my only hens who could hatch a clutch) is next door in my neighbors' field, & she appears mostly intact (I'm sick in bed so am sending mom to collect her body, look for tracks, & take pictures). Any idea what nocturnal predator attacks when there is only one animal out, leaves any remains not far from the area the prey was originally located, & leaves almost whole corpses or pieces? Not sure whether or not it matters, but my coops are in the same field as my horses.

I apologize if this post is a mess but I'm sick, my phone is being tempermental, & im very upset :,(. I will be asking the neighbor if I can set up a game camera in their field, but they probably wont allow it because their weird :/.

Well this one was completely intact so no indicators on how she died unless her neck was snapped. The dirt around was loosened & there were some drag marks. There were large paw prints, maybe canine, along with a few smaller feline ones, & maybe 2 sets of longer footed tracks that may have possibly been coon or skunk (as you can tell im a real expert xP). Unless she flew over or found a duck under spot this thing also had to carry her over a 4ft wire fence unless it was small enough to fit under the fence. Setting out flour on the ground & no my idiot neighbor said I couldnt put up a cam

. Ill ask her son ASAP & if not ill be trying to find a place I can put a cam without my horses getting it (if I just hang it on the fence in my property they will destroy it).

ETA: This duck was flat on her back with her neck to the side.

Sounds like someone in your area may be letting their dog out at night thinking it will not bother anyone cause everybody is inside for the night .

i mount my cams critter level on a cinder block, just tie it to the block and set it where you want to , ? it will be back wild or not and you may catch a photo of it, mabe even find out who's it is if it is a dog .
