What have I gotten myself into?

Well, all my eggs hatched except my severely delayed eggs and 5 that were no good. So now I have 3 premie chicks still alive and kicking in their eggs, and new eggs expected tomorrow!!

Also, I messed up. My mom is coming from NY to visit next month, and she wanted to watch a hatch. So I ordered 2 dozen eggs to hatch when she was here, and somehow miscounted and have day 21 the day before she gets here instead of 3 days after like I thought.

So I'm ordering more eggs!

Which meant I needed another incubator. i was going to make one but my dh's son knew someone who was willing to loan me one. Its a hovabator like mine, but with all the bells and whistles. It's now warming up for my premie eggs to go into.

I'm in over my head!

LOL! Maybe you could have let the 2 dozen rest a whole day or two before getting them in the bator. Then she'd have made it in time. It sounds like everyone's having late hatches...
