What have you been reading?

I'm not sure I could break it down that well, but here goes..

The Master and Margarita
One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest
(but a lesser known novel by Ken Kesey, Sometimes a Great Notion, is also amazing in its own right)

The rest of the short list are authors (loved everything I've read from each)
William Faulkner
The Russian classic greats: Nikolai Gogol, Leo Tolstoy, Dostoevsky
John Steinbeck

Drawing a blank on more details here, I'm sure I'll be kicking myself soon enough for leaving so much out

Anyone care to share their all-time-favorites?
Some of mine:
The Contrary Farmer by Gene Logsdon
Norwegian Wood... by Lars Mytting
Alas, Babylon by Pat Frank
The Hunt for Red October by Tom Clancy
The Last of the Breed by Louis L'Amour
Carry On, Mr Bowditch by Jean Lee Latham
The Forrest by Edward Rutherford (and the first third or so of his Pol)
Friendly Persuasion by Jessamyn West
The Donkey's Git by Thomas Coffey
The Mouse that Roared by Leonard Wibberley

All of James Herriot
Most of Don Coldsmith
Much of Dick Francis; not so much of Felix Francis but his later books are better
Much of Oliver Sacks
Some of Harry Kemelman's Rabbi Small books
Only the Red October series of Tom Clancy plus Red Storm Rising
All of Calvin and Hobbes, Peanuts, and For Better or Worse

Honor Harrington, 1632, Ranger's Apprentice, Little House,

I remember Calvin and Hobbes! I’ve still got a big book of those somewhere....
