Discovered the Beartown Trilogy by Fridrik Backman(A Man Called Ove).
Read the last one first, then the first, waiting for the second to come in.
Really enjoying them.

The Boys in the Boat by Daniel James Brown

This is worth reading. The audio version has a good voice for it too.

The rest I've read or tried lately are disappointing, at best.

Oh. There are at least two narrators. I listened to only Mark Bramhall.

Not familiar with the book, so I Googled it. Sounds like an intriguing story.

I just finished Malcom Gladwell's "The Tipping Point." Interesting, but not one that I'm likely to read again.

The Boys in the Boat by Daniel James Brown

Got this ordered. Somehow it's connected to Unbound(great book) according to a couple reviews I saw.

I just finished Malcom Gladwell's "The Tipping Point."

He's good, but pretty dry reading. I see his name and thinking of his 10,000 hours 'rule' as shown in his book Outliers.

I just read Good Bad Girl by Alice Feeney and was hooked in good to the twisty tales of mother and daughters. Not a cheery chick flick type book.

Finished reading The Empty Land by Louis L'Amour, and started reading The Lonely Skier by Hammond Innes.

The first book in a series of four. I've read three of them so far, and they're excellent. Definitely not light reading, though. Very complex, sometimes quite dark, and they require a brushing up on the history of Spain during the Franco period. Well worth it, though!
