Pendine Sands, not a place to LEARN to drive. That'd be like learning to drive during the Indianapolis 500 mile race. I gave up the on ever learning to drive in the U.K. Actually, I never even went so far as to sit behind the steering wheel that was on the wrong side of the car. I always chickened out at the first corner where the driver made a turn. I had no doubt that every turn was going to be a head-on collision.

Pendine Sands has a long association with driving, Malcolm Campbell used to drive there on occasions....lol.

Did you break any records Cheryl?

Joe, I think you would find all kinds of wierd and wonderful people in St Ives, but keep it quiet about polygamists in Wales the idea could catch on. lol....

Really glad you all had a good time watching our insanity, and those of you that have been here have good memories of Wales.

It kind of gets under your skin. The coast is beautiful but there are some lovely areas inland too. and the hills around here are very special since the coal-mining and iron works are gone. In my lifetime I have watched the valleys heal themselves of the industrial scars.

It is magic.
