Those ladies at Meyer are great aren't they? I called there on 5/19 and ordered 21 new babies (girls). I spoke to Laura and she was great. Their hatch date is July 21...just a week before yours.

This time of year, I do not think it is unreasonable to have to wait to get what you want. I did not get my Delawares for the same reason....not available until late August.

I ordered 5 Salmon Faverolles, 2 RIR, 3 Ameraucana, 4 Golden Buffs, 1 GLW, 1 Standard Blue Cochin, 1 standard Red Cochin, 1 Dominque, 1 BO, 1 BA and 1 Partridge Rock. I already have a SLW, a NHR, 2 BAs, 1 Lt Brahma, 1 Ameraucana.

Great gift for yourself.

Why so many onsies? Do you just like a variety? I thought about getting 5 of these and 5 of those instead of 11 and 14 of 2 but I thought since I was getting straight runs I had a better chance of fewer roosters. But then, what do I know? I know what I'll add next time though; SL Wyandottes, Buff Chanteclers and Dominiques. And a few guineas.

Of course, I may change my mind by then.
