It also could be the Purina brand feed.

I personally steer away from that brand after I found out they use plasticizers in their feeds. I feed my chickens Kalmbach and they've done very well with it.

Purina pet food and Purina livestock food are not the same company. I don't know if it makes a difference to the alleged plasticizers or "natural" labeling - just pointing out different ownership.
