What if not all your hens fit on the roost?

Not 100% sure that they don't, but just wondering if this is a problem if they don't.

if they don't fit, need to add another. some squeeze together and some spread out and need more room. i have 8 feet of roost for 6 hens. they used to squeeze on 1. Now they spread out to both.

If they don't fit then the weakest/least dominate birds will be stressed out and scared while they search for another place to roost. The others will peck them, and force them down.

Just add more roosts. Everyone sleeps better in their own "bed".
