What if you get a roo?

Pics
I would rehome them. There is usually someone looking either for their larger flock or to eat. I hate to think of giving them away to be eaten but I guess that is part wanting chickens and not keeping every rooster you end up with.

How exactly does this work?
Do you kill the bird or do they?
Age limits?
Are they concerned about any avian diseases?
I take it back, I am SURE a post about it on facebook said they use CO2 gas to kill them.
I think they ask about worms and other parasites too.

I surprised they take them without disease testing.
If they take them live I wonder if they do do some testing before feeding.

I remember when you first posted that pic. Every time there’s a OP with small children who wants to “rehab” a rooster you should post that and say....he missed my eye by thissss much! Seriously ~ right?
I know! As grown adults, *we* could barely keep up with that rooster -- there was no protecting the other critters who lived on the property. The cats just didn't understand when I told them to, "Watch their backs!"

I swear, that rooster knew when I didn't have the hose with me, and would sneak up from behind, too. He was a clever ninja!
