What if you run out of feed?

Not saying that any of us plan to but...

If you ran out of feed and had to come up with something at home or from the grocer what would you feed (temporarily)?

To Chicks? Broilers? Laying hens?

eggs and cereal like cherrios or something...

you can feed them veggies cooked eggs cooked rice,an let them live of buggs grass worms.

day old bread, produce discards from the grocery store, tall green weeds picked from wherever you can find them, wild bird seed from the 99 cent store or Walmart, oatmeal (dry or cooked) or horse grain, omolene, cook up some eggs, whatever you would feed youreself out of the cupboards should be okay with the chickens, just not anything "offish" from the fridge.
