What if you run out of food!?

I am completely out of chicken feed and can't get any until Monday. What do I do!?

Dou you have any bird seed? A loaf of bread should fill up their stomachs if you toss it throughout the day. Maybe you could feed breakfast cereal or cooked oatmeal and cooked rice. Oh mashpotatoes would be ok too.

I just hope all that human food doesn't mess with their digestive system.

No problem. Head to your cupboard or pantry. Dried cereals, oatmeal, cream of wheat, etc, canned corn, canned peas, crackers, breads, corn bread mix, just about anything that seems like chicken food? They'll eat it!!! LOL. A can of tuna, mac 'n cheese, left over people food, scrambled eggs too!

So I just feed them small amounts of that throughout the day tomorrow? They were pinned up today as it was raining, but tomorrow they will free range all day. They come and find me when they get hungry, so I could easily do that.
Oh, and they do love birdseed!
