Hmm...Its under managing adult ducks.

Mines an older version copy right 1978-1990-2001. But on page 178 in my book it talks about nutrition and how important A sound feeding program is.

It must be something that was added to the new version. It stipulates in the book that you cant feed just potatoes, that its a supplement to free ranging ducks. It is advocated as a corn substitute, because lets face it most feed is over half corn or wheat. Appendix A shows sample feed mixes.

But does that include citrus peels or only vegetable and non-acidic peels or everything?

So ...do you still free range in winter? (and with snow?) And up to what point? Or will they just start to act more penguin like?

I haven't had a first winter to go through yet. Our winter just ended and I barely got the ducklings about 3 weeks ago. So...
