What in heaven is going on outside?!?!?

Where I live it's 2 am and i can't sleep!! For hours sounds of grawling/fighting/ running in bushes/crying/screaming/barking!!! Thankfully it's not humans... I think it's a bunch of wild dogs trying to freak the neighborhood out.
From what i can hear: probably a female dog just gave birth to puppies(who are crying for hours) and she has dome sort of trouble? And i heard dogs fighting and grawling probably her defending them... Idk but those sounds are really freaking us out and we just want to sleep... We know no ghost thing involved but seriously these sounds shake your heart not necessarily by the means of fear... But just a weird sensation that won't let you sleep... I feel like im in a different world... Lol..
And to entertain myself i was surfing through BYC and thought to stop by and tell you guys what a terrible, horrible night i'm having!

Sorry you are having such a horrid night, but dawn will come and another day will begjn. Hopefully the dog and pups will be fine and this night will not be repeated. I suffer from insomnia and know what it's like not to be able to sleep. The pits.

Some nights the coyotes are howling a lot here and it makes it very eerie and hard to sleep! Then it sets off the neighbors' dog.

Up until a few months ago I had insomnia problems. For over ten years I struggled through life half dead on my feet. And I tried everything excluding hypnosis. The problem just disappeared after I stopped taking all the crud the doctor was prescribing. It's nice to be able to sleep again. Good luck in finding a solution.
