I’m so confused. I have 2 6 or 7 week old khaki Campbells. I think. I went on vacation for a week and came back see that one of them has new colors on their wings like a Rouen has. It’s black, not blue. The other one doesn’t have any colors at all other than brown. Take a look and let me know what you think. They’re also making new quack noises that they definitely weren’t doing last time I saw them! Do you think they’re both khaki Campbell?

If you bought it from tractor supply or a hatchery sometimes a different breed will slip in somewhere in their genetics

That is what happens to the speculum of Khaki Campbell’s due to the Dusky allele. In other words, perfectly normal. They all look like Rouen females but with a brown wash over the colors. Then, a few months later, the males get the normal Khaki drake colors. Your bottom picture is definitely a drake. The other could be either based on coloration. Does it quack?
