My first thought with the comb was Sicilian Buttercup...but the color is all wrong...then I wondered maybe Old English game...but the comb is wrong.

Maybe a mix or a breed I'm not familiar with.

I think he is a mix.

He's a mixed breed bird. He has something barred in the gene pool, and likely something like Polish a few generations back for the tiny crest, funky comb and overall body shape.

He actually looks like some of my f1 polish in one of my projects. Not much crest and that type of comb, so I second a polish cross.
