What in the world is my...?

My husband got this pretty baby, but we really have no idea what she/he is. Possibly Phoenix or some sort of mix. Any ideas?

From the pattern I would say mix. Where did you get it? How big does it seem compared normal sized birds? Do you know how old it is?

That's a male.
Defiantly a mix.

It is a mix, but a pretty amazing one. Sometimes the mixes are fascinating. I think its a hen. They are actually half the size of the adults. Here is a better example of the size. Here are 2 of the young hens. The grey one was sort of panicking when the photo was taken, but she is fine and friendly now.

The woman my husband got them from was raising phoenix and Buffs. Who knows maybe she thought she'd create a new bred. Ended up with a litter of half Siamese and Bengal kittens a woman was taking to the shelter because her dreams of a new bred didn't work out quite as she had hoped. So I think it is a mix, but I'm not seeing the buff.

And not seeing the buff in the grey one either. It's like a rooster rogue rooster got into her coop.

About half the size of our others. And half the size of the one where they came from.
