What in the world is this?

These showed up in 2 of my 12 nesting boxes today. Any ideas? I’m in NE Georgia. Yard chickens, 4 months old

Is it ants? Black ants do that under and around my flower pots on the deck.

Maggots of some sort. Can't tell what species of fly they'll turn into. If anyone can, they win the internet. What is the substance they're on?

I don’t know but get rid of that before it hatches ?!

We cleaned everything out right when we saw it. The boxes are filled with hay. No idea what the dark brown stuff is. That appeared with the larvae worm looking nasties
