What in the world is this?!?

This poor chicken started off looking pretty similar to our other girls but she is looking more and more roostery (is that a word)

Can any of you help us put an end to our confusion? What breed is this girl (boy) and is she really a she?

Where did you get him? If it was a hatchery, then you could look at the list of breeds they sell to better guess what he is.

Mixed breed rooster.

The other gals he came with are all black australorps but we also have road island reds from the same hatchery.

the hatcheies usually throw in a suprise chick...thats nothing that i recognise..australorp has charcol legs- maybe a cross of some kind.
