What in the world? It's a small one.

So, I have a flock of 2 year old hens. Everybody lays. A couple weeks ago I got this tiny egg. By tiny I mean 1 inch by 3/4inch. Today I got another. What's going on besides my being mystified?

Those are cute! You should blow them out and save them!
Maybe a sparrow crept in and took over a nest? Or you have a really small bantam somewhere.

They're called 'fart eggs'. I don't know much about them, besides the fact that they're tiny!

Well, which ever hen lays the dark egg... she decided you didn't need a yolk... so she gave you whites only. And why waste energy on a large shell...

whne my columbians layed their first egg last week they where the size of quail eggs same as above
now they are started to get a little bigger

give it time they will get bigger

Wonder how many you would need to crack open just to get a decent breakfast lol

Well, whatever they are, I enjoy getting them. I don't know why this would start all of a sudden though. I'm so tempted to open them but at the same time I want t save them as they are.
