What incubater is best for me? i dont want to spend to much on it, but it will be my first time hatching eggs so i want it to be simple to use.
thank you!
I'm sure that you will get a number of opinions on this, but I suggest a Genesis picture window incubator. I've have used these inexpensive styrofoam type incubators on a number of occasions and have gotten a good hatch rate from them. They hold up to 70 chicken eggs. Just be sure and get one with a circulating fan and automatic egg turner. Murray McMurray sells them for under $200. Sorry, that was just my personal experience with the LG still air. Some folks manage fine with them. There's a thread here somewhere on how one person managed to get better results by adding some things to it. Some simple dollar store items & what not. Frankly, I'm just not that patient to work with it. Temp spikes are a common problem. Best of luck, no matter what you decide.
