What Insect is in My Coop?

Oh my. Since joining BYC last month I have had more chicken issues than the two and a half years I've had chickens. It's like a new one every few days and so many threads I've posted, I fear you all are going to get tired of me quick!

With hubby's work picking up, I've been flying solo taking care of a newborn baby, homeschooling my other two kiddos, and managing my flock (not to mention house work) and have slacked on a few things. Summer is finally here so time to tend to some neglected areas. First on the list...dirty coop. I was doing a deep clean of the coop a couple days ago and found some red insect casings in the coop bedding. They seem to be way too big for mites, but I'm beginning to wonder if this is where all my chicken health issues have stemmed from. Hopefully I can get my picture to attach. They are in a pile of pine flakes, the standard size from TSC.

Any idea what bugs these are from? And if they might be harming my chickens?

Also found a whole bug. Not sure if it's the same as the casings or not. And it's not a pill bug.

@Gallo del Cielo I've read your post and article on poultry ticks. Could this be what I'm dealing with?

At first glance I though roach ootheca, but owing good pictures I could see that most are exuvia left from fly pupa of some sort.

Those are puparia from flies.

Thank you! I looked up pictures and that's exactly what it is. No more panic mode
