What is a fair price for Call Ducklings?

I'am thinking of buying some Call Ducklings in the near future. Just wondering if someone here could give me a price range in what they go for,and what to watch for when buying.

What about adult pets?

If I have too many drakes (after I can for sure sex my ducklings) I'm going to have to sell them and I'm just curious what a fair price for them is. I don't know if they're show quality or not or how to tell since I bought the hatching eggs off eBay...

We sell our pet quality calls for $40-$60 a pair....i think $40-$60 is the going rate for pet quality. Ducklings we charge $25-$35 per duckling depending on variety, but we show all of our ducks. I think backyard breeders that just raise them for pets get around $8-$10 each.

I have purchased a pair of pets for $20 - but they were already a few years old. If they are yearlings and decent - I'd charge $25 - 30 but it really depends on your area and what others are paying. Look in Craig's list to see if you can figure out what the going price is. Also, if you are the only one selling them you never know what you can get. Pairs will usually fetch more because people like the thought of a pair, so drakes might be less.
