Hi does any body know what a golden sex link is mixed with?

A gold male and silver female. Like a Rhode Island Red and a Delaware.

There are several "recipes" to make a sex link, and each hatchery has their own mix they like to use. Peep is right, the basic formula is a gold male over a silver female. many different breeds can be used.

Sometimes the hatcheries will specify the parent stock. Both Cackle and Ideal have three varieties of Red Sex Link and specify the parent stock on their web pages.
