Right now I have a 30 gallon plastic trash can that I store my chicken feed in. However, the lid is not tight enough to keep out the roaches from getting inside. Whenever you remove the lid to scoop out feed, roaches scurry all over the place. My Wife will no longer feed the chickens because of all the roaches that jump on her hands and arms.
I have thought of buying a really large ice chest, (about 110 quart size) but that would be pretty expensive.
Anyone got any advice on some type of air tight storage container / containers that can hold 3-4 fifty pound bags of feed at a time.

Anything that has a lid that seals tight. Roaches do not like the sun so I use clear plastic storage totes. I can fit two 50 lb bags in it. They have the latches that come up over the lid.

They also sell storage bins at tractor supply that seal tight to keep out everything. You can also find them on amazon or really anywhere that sells animal feed.

If you have that many roaches then sealing your feed will be important. The roaches will be compromising the feed. In addition to the above suggestions, you may be able to find a non-working chest freezer, or upright fridge bc they will seal, and should be free or cheap since they would no longer work. We use metal trash and. They seem to seal well.

Are you storing the feed under cover -in a building? Or is it stored outside?

A metal trash can will protect the feed from so much more than roaches, as it's unlikely to have vermin chewing holes in it to get to the food, but... if that's cost prohibitive for you at this time (due to corona virus and lockdowns, etc), have you considered creating a silicone seal with tube of bathtub sealant? I'm thinking if you put a thick bead on the upper rim of the can, the lid can then be pushed down onto the can forming a better seal.

Gamma 2 Vittles Vault Outback are fantastic.
I keep mine under a carport and haven't had any problems with any pests or moisture.
We have high humidity here and I had a problem with metal cans rusting.
The large Vittles Vault will hold a 50lb bag of chicken feed easily.
I love them so much that I bought 2 large, a medium, and a small.

check appliance stores for "scratch and dent" sales, craig's list, any FREE fridge you can lay on it's back and remove the shelves will work. FREE IS GOOD!
