I sell mine straight run for $2.50 a piece or 5/$10.00. If you want me to pick pullets they are $4.00 a piece. The feed stores are selling theirs for $1.50, $1.75 and $2.00 but you can look at mine and tell they are fat and healthy with no pasty rumps. We sold about 300 last weekend alone. If I get too crazy hatching chicks (which is often) I sell them for $1.50 or 10/$10.
Awesome responses!! I get mine from the auction barn and usually pay about .35-.50 for them and then feed them out for a week or so. I try to pick a few pullets from the ones I want and the rest go. Once are start hatching my own it will be even crazier around here.
That place scares me! But curiosity is getting to me. I use to go there when I had horses. Picked up an itsy bitsy baby bunny for my daughter as a pet and it got to be 20#.
Maybe some Sat. I will venture on down but I am leaving my money at home.

Out here in California (Bay Area) We sell most of our chicks for $10 a piece and we usually sell out in about 2 days! For nice silkie chicks people are even willing to pay $20 a piece, but I guess that just showcases the marin love of fluffy white animals!
