I have to sell a couple cockerals soon and don't know how much to sell them for. They came from really good breeder/show stock (I know they can only be shown in open classes)

How much should I sell them for?

Without pictures that's hard to decide...Because they are being perfected the claim of breeder and sq doesn't hold much...naming the breeder does help since people can see where they are going with their birds. However you need to judge each one on it's own merit not on the breeder. What quality is the color, the lacing including all the way to the shank, width of head etc For instance my breeding birds are straight from Foley's I live a bit too close to him he gets $50 a pair for breeder quality and up.I paid 3x that amount for a real nice pair and he still hatches many chicks that never make it to breeder quality pairs.I have chicks from other big breeders as well-verdict is out on them still but there is a wide range in the quality of the chicks now

Unfortunately unless you just happen to find someone looking for a new roo for their BLRW hens and yours are super, super nice they aren't worth anymore than any run of the mill rooster. There are just too many roosters out there.

Well, to be honest, I'm not trying to make a lot of money. I can only keep 1 more boy and I have 3. I've never sold a rooster before so I didn't know what I should charge for them.
I got them from BYC member Baregretchen and she got her stock from Hattrick Silkies . Here is her site http://www.barenecessitiesfarm.com/BLRW.html I have no idea where Hattrick Silkies birds came from. I am new to the BLRW's so I have no idea what to look for or anything. My boys are still so young, around 3 moths old now.

I give them away too! I had NO takers when I was trying to sell my Welsummer roosters and decided it would be best to be done with the extras is to give them away or EAT them.
