For the birds, around 20 a piece. Not sure about the eggs. They sell for $2.50 a dozen and it takes a good 20 weeks before they start laying.

How sad too. I'd be so angry if someone destroyed my run. We put in a lot of money to make it like it is.

I wrote the gal an estimate of 25.00 per hen, 6.00 a dozen for the eggs lost until replacement hens are bought and producing. I think it reflects the current prices here.
