I went to a backyard breeder today, and she showed me the PRETTIEST chickens and called them "porcelains" I believe. Is that really a breed? They almost looked like a "lavender" something I saw around here....

its a color not a breed. ive a porcelain d'uccle pullet. its basicly the millie fluer patteren diluted the only color not affected is the white. milli color is buff, black, and white when diluted the buff looks like a light creamish color (to me anyways), the black is lavender, and the white is unaffected.

with lavender its a solid light even gray all over (not to be confussed with blue
