What is an incubating buddy

What are the benifits of an incubating buddy? I am new to incubating.

Well, it's just fun to have someone who set the eggs on the same day (or within a few days) that you start incubating. That way, you can keep in touch and share your experience.

Yes and I thought it was dumb at first!! But once you start getting incubating buddy's, it is really fun!! And sometimes it's like a race to see who's hatch first!!

It sounds fun! I am so ready to put eggs in my newly built bator. It will hold 60 eggs at a time. How many buddys should there be or what is the ideal number?

Well, just start a thread, posting that you will be setting eggs on a certain date, and you need hatching buddies. There could be any number of people who will be hatching with you. I don't think there is an average number of hatching buddies. Springtime is a very very busy time for incubating.
