What is best humidity level in coop

I live in Colorado. Does location determine the ideal humidity level. I have a device that lets me know % . It is 40% most nights but has gotten up to 70% and as low as 20%.

As close to the same humidity as outside the coop.

Or not more humid than outside, anyway. With good ventilation, it can get drier inside on a sunny day in the winter. That wouldn't be a problem. At least if they have lots of fresh water available - which they should have anyway.

I keep my coop as dry as possible. I don't even water in the coop, only in the run.
