What is best way to keep flies down in my coop and run??

Just since all these rains and the run has gotton "muddy" I am getting LOTS of flies. How to get rid of them without hurting my birds and best way to prevent them from coming back!!??

Just since all these rains and the run has gotton "muddy" I am getting LOTS of flies. How to get rid of them without hurting my birds and best way to prevent them from coming back!!??

Proper bedding in the run.

Fix any drainage issues then add a couple inches of coarse wood chippings and a thin layer of straw or other smaller dry materials. That should sap the stink almost immediately.

Not really a good solution for muck.
Stall dry is just clay and DE.
