What is better 4 or 3 goats

Hey, I used to have 4 goats but I recently lost one of my goats to kidney stones. We have started talking about getting another goat if it’s right for the herd. So is it better for the herd to stay as 3 or to become 4 with a new goat? Thank you.

I have 3 Nigerian dwarf females and if I got another it would be a female. They are 11 months, a year, and 3 years.
