What is better?

I am separating my current rooster ti a bantam pen with the other bantams and want to get a new....standard size....rooster for my hens....and me! I love roosters!!!! Our problem is deciding which breed to go with! We are between wheaten ameraucana and French black copper Marans, I have a FBCM already and if I get the ameraucana I would get a hen with him.
So what do I want in a rooster???

(I know those really depend of the individual)
And good breeding opportunity for selling hatching eggs.

I'm pretty sure the marans craze is fading. So don't focus on that.

I don't own either anymore.

I have araucana and Americana, but not Ameraucanas.

I don't have the French Black copper marans, but I do have a pair of splash copper marans. They're pretty nice, and I love the contrast between the bright orange and splash, especially on my pullet.

Personally, I would go ameraucana for egg color or marans for personality

Honestly, I would go with the Americana for the offspring egg coloring! I have some Americana X tons of other hens chicks hatching right now. I don't usually think about the breed characteristics as it really, really varies bird to bird.

Americanas are mutts. Pampers is interested in Ameraucana

Depends on where you are. Here, neither would do well. Michigan for example, probably the Ameraucana.
