We feed that and some crimped oats to our chickens now that the weather is hot and humid for them to scratch and eat. BOSS is also wonderful for your horses too....

strangely enough, my chickens ignore the BOSS. They don't even try to open the shells.

They love rice, grapes, onion, and peanuts.
