My injured hen looks very sore today. She's in a crate here in the basement, at 70 degrees. I am mostly keeping her room dark and letting her sleep, turning on the light and waking her every couple hours for water. She's a fully feathered Orp, so I am really not sure a heat lamp would be appreciated. There is an aspirin crushed up in her water. She's not interested in food today (oatmeal, scrambled egg, or yogurt). I also tried watery yogurt and honey, with little success. She does talk to me a little bit.
