Do you count the day you put them in as day one, or after they have been in there for a day as day one?

Day one is the next day. (Example, you set your eggs today, April 29, then day one is April 30.)

I count day 1 as the 24 hours time frame that the egg was in the 'bator. example, I put my eggs in the 'bator on 4/9 @ 3:30 pm, so 3:30 pm on the 9th - 3:30 pm the 10th was my day 1. right now my eggs are at the END of day 20 cause it's almost 3:30 pm here. 1 hour and 20 minutes to the start of day 21!! and I got 1 hatched and 3 pips!

now for lockdown figure when the START of day 18 will be and lock down at the start of day 18. IF ur day 18 starts close to night time I would lockdown in the morning, then u can watch the humidity after you add water. Just me! BUT if you see pips, lock down ASAP. Have fun and don't stress to much!

oh and I actually mark a calendar with all the days so I don't have to figure it everytime. and I mark candle days
