    OK, I am seeing "DH" all over the place - My DH this and My DH that - what the heck does that mean?

    My first guess is Dear Husband lol, no idea why I think that.
  2. Dh = Dear Husband

    Somewhere there was a list of abbreviations that are often used on the BYC; I can't remember where it was but here are a few (and if I've misstated any, my apologies in advance! :

    DH = Dear Husband
    DW= Dear Wife
    DS = Dear son
    DD = dear daughter
    MIL = mother in law
    FIL = father in law
    SIL = sister in law or son in law
    DIL = daughter in law
    BIL = brother in law
    EE = Easter Egger

    SG = showgirls
    BCP = black crested Polish
    NN = naked necks
    DE = Diatomaceous Earth
    BOSS = black oil sunflower seed

    There are others, but you get the general idea.... many times you can decipher an unfamiliar abbreviation by the context in which it appears. [IMG]
