What is Diatomaceous earth red lake used for?

I tried finding diatomaceous earth food grade but I couldn't unless I ordered it. So what is the difference between the diatomaceous earth: food grade and the diatomaceous earth: red lake?

diatomaceous earth: red lake

Probably has mostly clay, read ingredients carefully.

DE doesn't do much for the chicken keeper, might just save your money for something else.
