How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

I got 14 eggs today the new ducks and chickens are laying so I am getting more eggs now.

I got 9. 1 duck egg was broken and only one chicken egg is from today. Got 4 more for 13 today

Not sure how its been so long...

(1/14) 3. All duck.

(1/15) Got 4, 3 duck and 1 standard chicken egg. I did find a shell less duck egg though.

(1/16) 2. Duck.

(1/17) 4, 3 duck and 1 standard chicken!

(1/18) 4. 3 duck and 1 bantam!

(1/19) 3. 2 duck and 1 standard chicken.

(1/20) 4! 2 duck and 2 standard chicken! BUT, the 2 chicken eggs are from my two pullets I hatched! Both lay gorgeous dark olive eggs, just what I wanted! Funny how they started the same day.

(1/22) 4! 2 duck, and 2 standard chicken. One of the pullets laid again!

I honestly wasn't expecting them to be olive, because both parents are mixes and who knows what they would lay. I also didn't want to have my hopes given up so I didn't expect them to lay olive. I think I'm pretty lucky that both lay olive!
Now I know my rooster has the chocolate egg gene, and its seems to be pretty strong! Hawk lays blue, so she has the blue gene.

Two. Always two. Apparently two eggs a day is all I'm going to get from 7 hens. The two Queens have consistently been laying daily, all four of the Legbars are on strike.

But now that little bantam cochin Helena has started laying one of the Queens has taken this as her cue to take a vacation. I know Legbar Amber is moulting like crazy, so much so that she doesn't look like the same chicken. I honestly confused her with Ivy, the smallest of the Legbars, until I saw her legband. She's still sassy though.
