Help with new sick pigeon

I just purchased this new pair of pigeons at the sale. Got them home and realized one looks to be puffed up and appears to have diarrhea. I have seen it twitch its head a couple times. And also sneeze once. I have raised chickens my whole life but I have no idea what I’m doing with pigeons.

Hi! I'm sorry to hear about your new pigeons! They are sick. Does it seem like they are dazed when twisting the neck? The sneezing, head turning/twisting and diarrhea, can be a sign of bird flu or PVM (a pigeon disease ).
The poo doesn't look right either. Do you know what there diet was?

I've experienced what I believe was PVM with my doves. Only one made it through because I caught him at the right time.

Any signs of excessive drinking? Have they been eating and how much?


Did the seller let you look at them before buying?

Right now, bring them inside in a clean cage, with clean water and food.
This is a very important step.

My bird knowledge is with avairy birds.
But a poopy underside in flighted birds should always be gently cleaned to prevent blockage.
