What is going on with my Buff Orpington? Roo or hen?

I was told on the site that my 14 week old buff Orpington was a Cockerel. Two days later it started to "kind of" crow and has been crowing since. This weekend it started to peck at me and be more aggressive after I put it and my other pullet in the main coop with the bigger hens. Which is strange for its behavior. Now when I walk up to it, it is squatting now..... do Roos do this? This rooster or hen is really confusing me.... help!!!!
